Professor Zhou serves is Doctoral Supervisor, a recipient of China’s National Outstanding Teacher Award and an Adjunct MBA Mentor at Nanjing University, as well as a Leading Mid-Career Academic and Technological Talent of Yunnan Province.
He was nominated in 2021 as a candidate for the National Role Model in Teaching and Educating by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. His/Her honors include the Juenong Medal (2017), Outstanding Educator in Chinese Tea Culture, and National Outstanding Tea Science and Technology Professional (2016). In 2005, he/she was named one of the Top Ten Outstanding Global Pu’er Tea Figures.
He is the author of numerous influential works on Pu’er tea, tea science, and ethnic tea culture, and is widely recognized for contributions to tea studies and education, have published over 20 tea treatises.
